Writing:

I have been interested in fantasy writing ever since high school, but until recently this failed to materialize into a finished work. Over the last few years, however, I have been putting quite a bit of effort into the development of a new fantasy setting. Initially, this provided an excuse for producing computer art. Then I got the idea of actually trying to write a story in that setting.

The result of that idea is a complete full-length novel (183,000 words in the second draft) titled "The Thief of Law". So far the story remains unpublished, but with any luck that may change. The story is basically a fantasy spy-thriller, a sort of "swords, sorcery, and spies" story. Its most distinctive feature is of course its setting, the Locus of Connected Worlds, a complex genre blender with extensive space-opera and some steampunk influences.

Before I wrote this story, my working name for the project, as well as its limited web presence, was the Quasimodern Fantasy Project. Now I have reorganized this work into a Wikipedia-inspired format called Locupedia. Following the links on this page will reveal everything you ever wanted to know (and probably a lot more) about this setting.
