This is a brief list of magic items that are not ubiquitous enough to be called common items, but are still widely known.
Spellcloth can be used as an impromptu magical armor, dulling the effect of spells or other magical attacks. Worn over normal armor, it can protect against diverse threats, although its protection is limited by the fact that the cloth layer is easily damaged by physical attacks, so its magical protection may be short-lived.
Another use of spellcloth is for smuggling magic items. Because spellcloth resists magical auras, an item surrounded by spellcloth is difficult to detect.
A common style of teleport weave consists of two pieces of cloth which are slashed in perpendicular directions. The perimeters of these pieces are left intact, so that there is no way to interweave the resulting strips without the aid of a teleport gate. The material used for such garments tends to be slightly translucent, so that one can see that the segments that are in back have not been cut and sewed, as this would be a simple way to break the topological constraints of the garment without using magic.
